The Dovetail team will be on site Sept. 24 - 25 to answer any questions you might have about incorporating 3D Genomics into your research program. Come find us at one of the events below, we look forward to meeting you!
Stop by our table at the vendor show located at South Lobby & FAES Terrace to learn more about how 3D Genomics can impact your research.
Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Dovetail 3D Genomics Workshop:
Topic: Genome reorganization and its functional impactduring breast cancer progression
Speaker: Kathleen Reed, Ph.D., Center for Cancer Research, NCI
Time: 1:00 - 2:00 pm
Location: FAES Classrooms: Rooms 3 and 4
More about the speaker:
Dr. Reed received her Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill under the mentorship of Prof. Doug Phanstiel. She joined the Cell Biology of Genomes group in 2022. She aims to better understand the structure-function relationship of the cancer genome by combining genome-wide sequencing and computational approaches with high-throughput imaging. Dr. Reed’s research will explore how changes in long-range (0.1-2 Mb) chromatin contacts could contribute to improper gene regulation and cancer progression within human breast cancer cell lines.
