I have received a Dovetail Genome Assembly Award for the genome of a diploid species of Australian burrowing frogNeobatrachus pictusat the end of last year. Working with Dovetail on this project has been very efficient, after sending them tissue material both Dovetail and Chicago libraries has been done in a matter of weeks. The resulted HiRise assembly improved the scaffold N50 from 40 kb to 227.9 Mb, which is simply amazing and makes my further population genomics research onNeobatrachusgenus finally possible.
